BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC
HEARING ON FRIDAY, JULY 29, 2013 AT 10:OOAM IN THE COMMISSIONERS
COURTROOM OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 200 SOUTH
TEXAS AVENUE, SUITE 106, BRYAN, TEXAS
COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONSIDER A PLAN FOR THE COUNTY CLERK ARCHIVAL
FUND AND HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED PLAN.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND SAID HEARING AND PRESENT
THEIR CAUSE, IF ANY, FOR OR AGAINST THE PROPOSED PLAN.

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a Public Hearing at the Brazos
County Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on
Monday, July 29, 2013, with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance.

The Commissioners Court met to consider a plan for the County Clerk Archival Fund and
hear comments on the proposed plan.
The County Judge called the meeting to order and turned the floor over to Ms. Flo
Workman, Chief Deputy of the County Clerk Office. Ms. Workman gave a presentation
on the archival fund and proceeded to tell the Court that her office would be requesting a
$2.00 increase in the archival fee from $5.00 to $7.00 per filing. According to Ms.
Workman, if approved, some of the fee increases would be effective as of September 1 st

while others would become effective as of January 1, 2014. There were no citizens
present to speak for or against this agenda item.
The County Judge indicated that the Court would consider this request at a regular
meeting of the Commissioners Court.
