A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held
in the Brazos County Commissioners Courtroom in the Administration Building,
200 South Texas Avenue, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
The attached sheets contain the names of the citizens and officials that were in
attendance.
2. Consider and take action upon Resolution 13 -007 that authorizes submission of an
application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a 2013 Texas Capital Fund grant
for construction of public roadway improvements along Louis Mikulin Road to the
proposed Prolamsa, Inc. development site.

Irma Cauley. Passed. 4 -0. Members voting Aye: Catalena , Cauley, , Mallard , Peters .

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR FUNDING THROUGH THE TEXAS CAPITAL
FUND FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Commissioners' Court has reviewed and hereby approves an application for:

SECTION 2:
The Commissioners' Court has reviewed and hereby agrees to comply with all assurances
executed in connection with the application and, if funded, the award.
SECTION 3.
The County Judge is hereby authorized and directed to act on the County's behalf in all
matters pertaining to this application and, if funded, the award.
SECTION 4.
The Commissioners' Court understands that there is no requirement of repayment for this
award and, therefore, will not require the benefiting business (Prolamsa, MX. dba Kuadrum
Pipe and Tube, Inc.) to repay any Texas Capital Fund monies received for this project
unless an agreement between the benefiting business and Brazos County provides
otherwise.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, held on AP6125, 2013, by the following vote:
