Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance. 2. Presentation and Discussion by the Brazos Valley Council of Governments ( BVCOG) concerning the possibility of establishing a Medical Examiner's office in the Brazos Valley. BVCOG Regional Forensic Feasibility Study.pdf The Commissioner's Court met to hear a presentation by Michael Parks of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments ( BVCOG) on the BVCOG Regional Forensic Center Vol / 7/_ Pg. 4 I BRAZOS COUNTY Feasibility Study. He began by examining the case for the establishment of a forensic center here by detailing the number of autopsies done annually and the cost of autopsies. He then sited the state's population growth showing how the major portion of the population will be in the metropolitan areas that compose the Texas Triangle. He then went on to discuss the scope of operations, financial considerations, estimated capital investment, estimated yearly operating budget, financing scenarios, revenue generation from out of county autopsies, and legal aspects. 3.
