A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held
in Suite 332 of the Brazos County Administration Building, 200 South Texas
Avenue, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 3:00 p.m. on
Monday, December 19, 2011 with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Candy Gallego was also in attendance.
2. Canvass of the December 13, 2011 Special Run -Off Election.

Escrutinio de la eleccion especial de segunda vuelta llevada a Cabo el dia 13 de
diciembre de 2011.
The Court proceeded to canvass the results of the Special Run -Off Election held
December 13, 2011. The County Judge read aloud the vote count for each candidate for

State Representative, District 14. The Court voted unanimously to accept as true the
county -wide totals as tabulated by the County's automated tabulating equipment and
ordered the results to be certified to the Secretary of State and recorded in the Official
Election Records of Brazos County. A copy of the election results as tabulated is
attached hereto.
Motion: Approve, Moved by Commissioner Kenny Mallard, Seconded by Commissioner
Irma Cauley. Passed. 4 -0. Members voting Aye: Catalena , Cauley , Mallard , Peters .
Members Absent: Wassermann.
3. Adjourn.
