BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC
HEARING ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2011 AT 4:45 P.M. IN THE
COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION
BUILDING, 200 SOUTH TEXAS AVENUE, SUITE 106, BRYAN, TEXAS
THE COURT WILL HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED TAX INCREASE FOR 2011.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND SAID HEARING AND PRESENT
THEIR CAUSE, IF ANY, FOR OR AGAINST THE TAX INCREASE FOR 2011.

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a Public Hearing at the Brazos County
Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday,
September 6, 2011, with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
LloydWassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
IrmaCauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
KarenMcQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear comments on the proposed tax increase for
2011. All interested persons were invited to attend said Hearing and present their cause, if
any, for or against the tax increase for 2011.
The County Judge called the meeting to order and invited others to speak.
There was no one from the public there to speak. Commissioner Mallard noted that while we
are receiving more tax revenue, there is a reduction to the tax rate.
The County Judge announced that the next hearing on the proposed tax increase will be
September 13, 2011 at 4:45 p.m. n the Commissioners Courtroom.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:57 p.m.
