the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of
the position of Brazos County Engineer.
3. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
4. Adjourn.

SPECIAL CALLED SESSION
Minutes
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in
Commissioners Courtroom in the County Administration Building, 200 South Texas Avenue,
in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2010 with
the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
The attached sheet contains the names of the citizens and officials that were in attendance.
The County Judge called the meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. and announced that the
applicants were rescheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011. He then recessed the
meeting until then.
At 11:10 a.m. the County Judge reconvened the meeting on Friday, July 29, 2011.
Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government code 551.074 to
discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or
dismissal of the position of Brazos County Engineer.
At 11:10 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting closed to the public so that the
Court could meet in Closed Executive Session. Dave Garrett, applicant, Bill Ballard,

Civil Counsel and Gary Arnold, Planning Administrator for the Road & Bridge
Department were asked to stay.
2. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
At 11:35 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open to the public and
announced that no action would be taken on the Closed Executive Session.
3. Adjourn.
