Minutes
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a Workshop Session in the
Commissioners' Courtroom in the Brazos County Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County,
Texas, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 with the following members of the Court
present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
IrmaCauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
KarenMcQueen, County Clerk, Absent.

Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance.
1. Workshop Presentation on Identity Theft Protection being offered to County Employees
The Commissioner's Court met to hear a presentation by Roxanne Whitt of ITR Group on Identity
theft Protection.
Ms. Whitt explained that this a voluntary program for employees and at no cost to the county. It
is based on payroll deductions. Typically 80% of employees participate. This helps with every
area of law including traffic tickets and provides the employee with a will at not cost to the
employee. There is a 25% discount in the criminal area. There is no contract to sign. An
employee can participate for one month then opt out the next month.
The Court discussed placing this on a future agenda with another presentation for those in
attendance.
