BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A SPECIAL CALLED SESSION ON
TUESDAY 29 JUNE 2010 AT 11:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 200 SOUTH TEXAS AVENUE,
SUITE 106, BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Call To Order
2. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to §551.071 of the Texas Government Code for
consultation with an attorney, and §551.0725 of the Texas Government Code for
deliberation regarding contract(s) being negotiated.
3. Consideration and possible action on matter of renewal of Pharmacare Pharmacy Benefits
Management Agreement.
4. Adjourn.
The County Administration Building is handicap accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 29, 2010
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in Commissioners Courtroom in the
County Administration Building, 200 South Texas Avenue, in
Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 with the following members of the Court
present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
The attached sheet contains the names of the citizens and
officials that were in attendance.
The County Judge called the meeting to order at 11:26
a.m. and then at 11:27 a.m. convened the Court into Executive
Session pursuant to §551.071 of the Texas Government Code for
consultation with an attorney and §551.0725 of the Texas
Government Code for deliberation regarding contracts(s) being
negotiated. Candy Gallego, Executive Assistant, Irene Jett,
Budget Officer, Tina Snelling, Civil Counsel, Ruth McLeod,
Administrative Assistant, Katie Conner, County Auditor,
Jennifer Salazar, Human Resources Director, Bill Ballard,

Civil Counsel and Debbie Lockledge, Administrative Assistant
were asked to stay for the meeting. Mark Grierson and Brenda
Cos were asked to remain in the courtroom in case they were
needed.
At 11:58 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open
to the public and on motion by Commissioner Peters, seconded
by Commissioner Cauley, the court directed the attorneys to
send a letter of intent to terminate and /or not renew the
contract with Pharmacare and Caremark no later than July 1,
2010.
There being no further business to come before the
Court, the meeting was adjourned.
