AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A SPECIAL CALLED SESSION ON
FRIDAY 26 JUNE 2009 AT 3:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 200 SOUTH TEXAS AVENUE, SUITE
106, BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Call To Order.
2. Review of applicants for the Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace position.
3. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to §551.074 of the Texas Government Code to
discuss possible personnel action regarding the Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace position.
4. Consider and possible action on the Executive Session.
5. Adjourn.
The County Administration Building is handicap accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 26, 2009
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in Commissioners Courtroom in the
County Administration Building, 200 South Texas Avenue, in
Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 3:00 a.m. on Friday,
August 22, 2009 with the following members of the Court
present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent;
Irma Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
The attached sheet contains the names of the citizens and
officials that were in attendance.
The County Judge called the meeting to order and then at
3:01 p.m. announced the meeting closed to the public so that
the Court could meet in Closed Executive Session to discuss a
personnel matter and applicants for the Precinct 4 Justice of
the Peace position recently vacated by the resignation of
Ramiro Quintero as allowed under Section 551.0724 of the Texas
Government Code.

At 4:01 p.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open
to the public and on motion by Commissioner Cauley, seconded
by Commissioner Peters, the Court voted unanimously to appoint
Colleen Batchelor to the position of Justice of the Peace,
Precinct 4 to fill the unexpired term of Ramiro Quintero.
The County Judge then announced that tomorrow's meeting
will be unnecessary.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
