COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 22, 2008
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in Commissioners Courtroom in the
County Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas,
beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2008 with the
following members of the Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4,
Absent;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
The attached sheet contains the names of the citizens and
officials that were in attendance.
The County Judge called the meeting to order and then
proceeded to consider possible action concerning the Burn Ban,
as established by Brazos County Order #08-009. On motion by
Commission Mallard, seconded by Commissioner Peters, the Court
voted unanimously to lift the Burn Ban. Commissioner
Wassermann asked that this be put on the agenda of the
Commissioners Court meeting every week for the Court's
consideration.

There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
