THE BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC
HEARING ON TUESDAY 8 APRIL 2008 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS
COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 E. 26TH STREET,
SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
In accordance with Chapter 232.008(c) of the Local Government Code, the Commissioners
Court will hold a Public Hearing to consider the abandonment of a subdivision named
Grandview Estates consisting of 18.90 acres of land, more or less, being Block 1, Lots 1-11 and
Block 2, Lots 1-3. The site is located in Precinct 2.
All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and present their cause, if any, for or
against the abandonment of a subdivision named Grandview Estates consisting of 18.90 acres of
land, more or less, being Block 1, Lots 1-11 and Block 2, Lots 1-3. The site is located in
Precinct 2.
The Brazos County Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign

PUBLIC HEARING
APRIL 8, 2008
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing at the Brazos County Courthouse in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
April 8, 2008, with the following members of the Court
present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary for or
against the proposed abandonment of a subdivision named
Grandview Estates consisting of 18.90 acres of land, more or
less, being Block 1, Lots 1-11 and Block 2, Lots 1-3 located
in Precinct 2. Gary Arnold explained to the Court that no one
is living on this property. The Realtor for the owners
contacted him about getting this process started.
There were no citizens in attendance wishing to speak on
the abandonment of the subdivision.
There being no further comments the County Judge declared
the Public hearing closed.
