The Brazos County Health Department in cooperation with the Texas Department of State
Health Services and local Emergency Management Coordinators will hold an informational
meeting to discuss plans for the distribution of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) during an
emergency. The SNS will become the main source of medical supplies and medication during a
catastrophic medical emergency. Brazos County's plan is currently being rewritten in order to
simplify and clarify it. This meeting will begin with an overview of the SNS given by Asst.
State SNS Coordinator, Marguerite Amundsen.
The Brazos County Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign
interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make arrangements, call (979) 361-4102.
