NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC
HEARING ON FRIDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 2007 AT 2:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS
COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 E. 26TH STREET, SUITE
115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
THE COURT WILL HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED TAX INCREASE FOR 2007.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND SAID HEARING AND
PRESENT THEIR CAUSE, IF ANY, FOR OR AGAINST THE TAX INCREASE FOR 2007.
The Brazos County Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign
interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make arrangements, call (979) 361 -4102.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
PUBLIC HEARING
SEPTEMBER 7, 2007
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing at the Brazos County Courthouse in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday,
September 7, 2007, with the following members of the Court
present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The purpose of the hearing was to hear commentary for or
against the proposed tax increase for 2007. There were no
citizens in attendance wishing to speak on the proposed tax
increase for 2007.
The County Judge announced that the Court would vote on
the budget and proposed tax increase on Tuesday, September 11,
2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom.
There being no further comments, the County Judge
declared the Public Hearing closed.
